Get ready to pack your bags and relax as Waldorf Astoria has announced one of its most prominent projects- Ithaahfushi Private Island! The island is designed beautifully and soon will become Maldive’s largest island. All set to become an escape from your daily life and give you an unmatched privacy experience, Ithaahfushi expands to 32,000 square metres. The property is located in the heart of the Indian Ocean.
Unmatched privacy experienced at Ithaahfushi Private Islands
To reach Ithaahfushi there are two ways that you can choose. You can either choose the 15-minute seaplane flight, or 40 minutes ride on the luxury yachts available. There is 24 person accommodation available on the property. The villas are designed elegantly and have 2 spacious bedrooms.
Those who love being around the oceans will love this overwater villa. Moreover, the villas come with large double dressing rooms, 2 showers (1 indoor and 1 outdoor), a shared living room, and a jacuzzi with a large pool.
For those who wish to live on the ground, there is a three-bedroom villa, hidden between green gardens and coconut palm candles in great secrecy, and comes with its private access to the sea and two swimming pools. In large groups, there is a four-bedroom residence, with two king bedrooms, two queen bedrooms, jacuzzis and a standard living room, all directly into the sea.
Experience the luxury of fine dining
It doesn’t matter whether you are surrounded by the ocean or not, Ithaafushi understands your satiety and presents you with an unmatched platter with amazing food items! Give your taste buds a luxury treatment with their specially curated menu. Enjoy your meal either in the villa or at the common dining area.
Visitors can also dine back on the main island, which includes some special restaurants such as The Ledge and Terra. The restaurants are all designed by Dave Print, the mastermind behind the Burnt Ends star-studded restaurant in Singapore. Terra offers a unique dining experience. Visitors dine on the elaborate freshly made bamboo communities located on the island’s highest point, surrounded by spectacular views.
Safety is the top priority
Ithaafushi follows world-class sanitary practices and ensures that their guests don’t get any issues regarding that. Moreover, during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, there is a regular disinfestation in the villas. The programme follows the Maldivian safety guidelines. They also offer Yoga practices.
